Flash Overtime Loss, Enters Bye Week

The
Fort Wayne Flash defense, led by Pernsteiner, went another four quarters without giving up a
single score. The game went into overtime and the Mayhem scored on a
3rd down run and converted their extra point to put 7 points on the
board.
The Flash struggled to move the ball on first down
and a penalty moved them back the next play. But, despite the field
position, Kerr found Marble in the end zone and scored 6 points with
Marble making wonderful diving catch! Final score, 6-7.
Coach Floyd then went for the win, but the Mayhem stopped the Flash
just inches from the goalline. Talk about a nail-biting game!
The Flash are on a bye week this week and travel down to Indianapolis to play the Chaos on May 10th.
